Rain is expected to negatively impact the light display. Jax Beach Deck The Chairs (JBDTC) event organizers and volunteers will closely monitor the impact of rain on the popular, free decorated lifeguard chair exhibit and children’s arts showcase Sunday, Dec. 7 and Monday, Dec. 8. The concessions tent will be closed on Sunday.
Now in their 13th season, Deck The Chairs (DTC) continues to produce a beloved annual tradition that provides residents and visitors with accessible, family-friendly holiday arts and entertainment space. DTC estimates more than .5 million attendees since its inception.
“Weather impacts are unfortunate; but we will do our best to get the park up as soon as possible. Public safety with the displays is our priority,” explains DTC Founder Kurtis Loftus.
