DTC Student Decorating Challenge Underway

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla (October 6, 2025) — Art programs from 22 middle and high schools will once again display their creative talents through the Student Decorating Challenge. Hundreds of students have been hard at work for the past month preparing to showcase their artistry.
Student exhibits will be located at Jax Beach Deck The Chairs and Jacksonville Zoo and Botanical Gardens.
Participating student art programs: The Discovery School, Duval Charter at Coastal, Fletcher High School, Fletcher Middle School, Fletcher Interact, The Bolles School, Sandalwood High School, LaVilla School of the Arts, The Art Garage Jax, Beaches Chapel School, First Coast Deaf/HH Kids, Mayport Coastal Sciences, Seaside Charter School
This event supports Deck The Chairs’ mission to nurture young talent and foster a love for the arts.
