Deck The Chairs Expands Student Arts Programming For 2025 Season

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Fla (October 6, 2025) — As Deck The Chairs (DTC) undergoes preparations for 2025 Jax Beach Deck The Chairs (JBDTC), November 26 through January 1, 2026, audiences are invited once again to join in this beloved holiday tradition.
This year’s student-focused visual and performing arts programming promises more inspiration than ever, with 45 Seawalk Pavilion Stage shows featuring an estimated 1,000 young performers from across the Northeast Florida area. Highlights include Cathedral Arts String Orchestra, The Nutcracker presented by The Florida Ballet, and resident favorite Tuba Christmas showcasing 200 tuba players.
The iconic DTC Musical Light Show returns with new enhancements, including an opening night Deckin’ The Light Show experience. JBDTC daytime attendees are invited to help custom decorate more than 100 musical notes to be displayed as part of the show.
DTC event organizers also scheduled new visual arts activities for students which will include Deckin’ Duuuval With The Jags and Deckin’ With Santa Workshop. See DTC website for dates, times, and more information.
