Jacksonville Beach Deck The Chairs is an annual lighted sculptural exhibit using the iconic chairs of The American Red Cross Life Saving Corps. Forty chairs are sponsored by local business and decorated by regional artists. The exhibit is on display in downtown Jacksonville Beach for the month of December.
JBDTC is proud to support the Volunteer Life Saving Corps of Jacksonville Beach. All net proceeds from JBDTC go to help supplement funding provided by the American Red Cross and the City of Jacksonville Beach. Funds are needed for training and outreach programs, and maintenance of its oceanfront facility. For more information, visit redcrosslifeguard.org.
During the holidays, visit Deck the Chairs in Latham Plaza and the Seawalk Pavilion in downtown Jacksonville Beach. Latham Plaza is located at the corner of First Avenue North and Second Street North. The Seawalk Pavilion area is adjacent to Latham Plaza between First Street North and the beach.
